RUSSIAN officials have approved the ‘world’s first’ Covid vaccine for pets that reportedly stops the mutation of the virus between animals and humans.

Mass production of the life-saving shots, Canivac-Cov, could be launched as early as April to protect our furry friends, according to Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary Supervision, Rosselkhoznadzor.

The Federal Centre for Animal Health began developing the miracle vaccine in spring last year after authorities were flummoxed by the transmission of the deadly virus from humans to our animal companions.

IL Sees Record 4,015 New Virus Cases, Most Deaths Since June

ILLINOIS — State health officials on Thursday reported a record 4,015 new cases of the coronavirus and 53 more deaths from COVID-19 — the most single-day deaths since June. The new case number approaches the three-day total of 5,368 new cases reported Sept. 4 caused by a data processing slowdown. The statewide totals now stand at 331,620 confirmed infections and 9,127 known deaths. Another 3,038 probable cases and 246 probable deaths are not included in the official totals.

IL Sees More Than 1,900 New Virus Cases For Second Time Since May

ILLINOIS — For only the second time since May 24, Illinois has exceeded 1,900 new cases of the coronavirus. As the pandemic continues a resurgance across the state, health officials on Thursday announced 1,953 new cases of the virus and 21 additional deaths from COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the virus. The statewide total now stands at 188,424 confirmed infections and 7,594 known deaths. Another 1,281 probable cases and 197 probable deaths are not included in the official totals.
